Nypoleon has potential; with more vocal training and experience, we may have what it takes to be a great artist. However, his flow on “Pimpafyin” is almost that of an ‘80s artist and is not attractive in 2008. The name of the song, in and of itself, is a turn off in this era. On most tracks, he’s off key, pitchy and his delivery is inconsistent throughout the song. The beat production is weak and doesn’t quite seem to fit his style. Better production and mixing might be part of the trick to tweak his sound to his advantage.

In order to be compared to the current R&B artists in the game, Nypoleon needs some more polishing. I admire his determination, I do recognize some skill, but it is not up to industry standard. My advice; work on it and keep trying. Good luck.
